About Agostina Franco

Hi! I'm Agostina.

My interest in osteopathy grew from years of hands-on experience working closely with the human body. I began my academic journey at the University of Guelph, where I completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. During my time there, I worked as a personal trainer at the University of Guelph fitness centre and volunteered as an athletic therapist and strength and conditioning coach with varsity athletes, including the university’s baseball team. Through these roles, I supported performance, recovery, and injury management, which deepened my appreciation for how interconnected and adaptable the body truly is.

Motivated by a desire to help people move better and live with less pain, I pursued further education at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy. I graduated with a Master of Practice in Osteopathic Manipulative Sciences (M.OMSc), completing over 4,200 hours of training in classical osteopathy along with 1,000 hours of supervised clinical practice. This education meets the World Health Organization’s recommendations for Type I osteopathic education and provided me with a strong foundation in osteopathic principles, assessment, and treatment.

Today, I practice gentle, non-invasive techniques and take an individualized approach to care, guided by a deep understanding of anatomy, biomechanics, and the body’s inherent capacity for self-regulation and healing. My goal is to help each patient restore balance, improve movement, and enhance overall well-being.

Let’s work together to unlock your body’s amazing potential.
